Maintenance
04:58
|
|||
Maintenance that’s what I’m
Into these days
The guitar, the car,
My body, my heart
Maintenance keep appointments
Make new ones
Think fast, talk clear, concentrate
Don’t loose the grip
I sleep enough
I eat enough
Floating floating
Maintenance that’s what I’m
Into these days
The ceiling, the stars, my things
And the ones I don’t have
Maintenance throw the garbage
Put a new bag
Get in, go out, calculate smile
Don’t get caught
I sleep enough
I eat enough
Floating floating

Airports
04:56
|
|||
I know you’re here
But I can’t see you
I feel you still
I cannot hear you
The words are clear
But what’s the meaning
I know you’re here
But something’s missing
Love knows no fear
You told me so
In a big tent long time ago
The time has passed
But I stood still
I need you back
To make things clear
Airports airports
I’m getting small
Big streets buildings
I can’t recall
Why did I start
What did I want
Why did I stop
Where do I go

Talk Talk Talk
03:24
|
|||
Most of the people
Talk talk talk
Most of the people
Are addicted to themselves
Pretend they’re listening
So they can go on
Inventing answers for questions
That you never had
Most of the people
Block block block
Most of the people
Always seem to be o.k
Go in go out just not to be alone
And wake up tired knowing
There is something they forget
Just make some waves
Create a buzz
You should be fine
If not come back
Most of the people
Want more more more
Of no matter what no matter why
No matter where
Most of the people
Talk talk talk
Most of the people
Are addicted
Just make some waves
Create a buzz
You should be fine
If not come back

I'm Not Mad
05:04
|
|||
I’m not mad, I’m just sad
I’m not jealous, it’s just my stomach
Its too bad, things got hard
I’m not worried
Life’s full of presents
And what name should I call you
Next time we talk
It took so long to find this one
And what else could I tell you
Next time we talk
Yes my grandma is well
How's your father take care
I'm not responsible
For your aging anymore
It's not my fault
That time keeps on passing
I'm not mad, I'm just sad
I'm not jealous
And what name should I call you
Next time we talk
It took so long to find this one
And what else could I tell you
Next time we talk
Yes my grandma is well
How's your father take care

My Face
03:41
|
|||
I breath in I breath out
In french and in english
I dream and I make love
I loose and I find
I get up and wonder
In hebrew and spanish
I listen to my voice
With ears that aren’t mine
My face before I was born was the same
My language before I could talk
Had its place
I breath in I breath out
Straight and in circles
With eyes closed and open
I see the same things
Mothers calling children
It’s time to go back now
The table is set
And the food’s getting cold
My face before I was born was the same
My language before I could talk
had its place
I breath in, I breath out

Lay a Finger
05:37
|
|||
Who do you need permission from
To get up in the morning
Who do you need permission from
To breath the air in deep
Who do you need permission from
To look as far ahead as you can
Who do you need permission from
To be
Lay a finger near the nose
Wait until you feel your pulse and follow
Close your eyes and open wide
Things look different if you decide
To get up in the morning
If you decide
To breath the air in deep
If you decide
To look as far ahead as you can
If you decide
To be
Lay a finger near the nose
Wait until you feel your pulse
And follow
Close your eyes and open wide
Things look different if you decide

Abuela (Grandma)
03:26
|
|||
Go on you’re done here
Everything’s ready
Nothing is missing
The house is clean
God is the helper
Of early wakers
You’ve been up for so long
Just close your eyes
All the books that you read
All the sweaters you made
Go with you go with me
All your sayings are laid
All your nights all your days
Go with you go with me
In the first world war
You smuggled flour
In hidden pockets
Sewed to your skirt
A bird that ate
Is a bird that fled
You belong there now
Unfold your wings
All the books that you read
All the sweaters you made
Go with you go with me
All your sayings are laid
All your nights all your days
Go with you go with me

What's the Prize
03:12
|
|||
What’s the prize for not falling asleep
What’s the prize for not watching T.V
What’s the prize for not sleeping
With everyone
What’s the prize for not needing to know
What’s the prize for letting you go
What’s the prize for not running away When you can
Had the best dream ever last night
Saw your face getting bigger
And turning into the sun
I woke up with a smile on my face
I don’t want any more I don’t need any less
What’s the prize for not nodding your head
What’s the prize for not saying a word
What’s the prize for not moving
Your hands all the time
What’s the prize for not winning the game
What’s the prize for not knowing your name
What’s the prize for not needing
Somebody to blame

I stop
02:23
|
|||
I stop myself from feeling
Stop my self from falling down
I stop my self from calling
Stop my self from getting up
I want someone that smells like you
Feels like you sleeps like you
I want someone that sees like you
Needs like you dreams like you
I stop myself from knowing
Stop myself from asking why
I stop myself from showing
Stop myself from getting dry
I want someone that smells like you
Feels like you sleeps like you
I want someone that sees like you
Needs like you dreams like you

Save Changes
01:53
|
|||
Winter is coming
I am not ready yet
Just learned how to make
All kinds of soup
In kindergarden
I would beat up the other kids
I don’t know why
I’m thinking of this
Save changes save changes
Save changes save changes
Police man walking by me
I look the other way
As if they knew about something
I haven’t done (yet)
Breathing costs money now
We’re not kids any more
Save changes…
